Perhaps, Floyd Mayweather was provoked when Manny Pacquiao questioned his credibility that is why the "Money Man" decided to launch his truculent attack against the former pound for pound king, Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao who is busy preparing for his scheduled fight at The Cotai Arena in Macau against Chris Algieri this coming Nov. 22.
Floyd fought back at Manny, using his official Twitter account yesterday, Sept. 26, 2014, he castigated his rumored future opponent, but according to some observers, it was a personal attack because he also posted three shameful photos of the "PacMan" aside from the fact that he called him broke and desperate for a pay day. Manny is still not issuing any statement regarding the issue; however, his supporters are remonstrant to the description posted by the unbeaten American boxer on Twitter.
They said Floyd was wrong when he said Manny is desperate because the truth is, he just wants to give the boxing fans a good fight. They appealed to him, according to them, this is the right time for him to fight Manny in the ring to determine who the real pound for pound king is because they are not getting any younger, sooner or later, they will retire.
And speaking of retirement, the current pound for pound king is scheduled to hang up his gloves next year that’s why Top Rank’s big boss Bob Arum, the World Boxing Council and the boxing fans all over the world are advising him and Manny to meet half way and make the mega fight or the lucrative fight in the history of boxing happen.
On the other hand, Manny is ready, in almost all of his interviews, he confirmed that his lines are open 24 hours a day. He also insisted that Mayweather knows how to reach him. Unfortunately, the “Money Man” is still undecided to do it.
